The main hub of the event has been Fondazione Sozzani Tazzoli Milano that hosted Sustainable Evolution, a project supported by White and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, and meant to promote the next generation of creatives. They selected ten new designer brands: Froy, Lessico Familiare, Mishimi, Oh Carla, Gin Salemò, Bayria Eyewear, Kidsofbrokenfuture, Marcello Pipitone, Simon Cracker and Zerobarracento.
Part of this edition was also the project Milano Loves Italy that created a path through important Milanese multibrand stores presenting and promoting a selection of sustainable brands.
Among them there were Biffi Boutiques presenting the sustainable denim brand Peppino Peppino; Daad Dantone disclosing the vegan and cruelty-free bags by Roberto di Stefano; Tenhoa offering Japanese sustainable brand F/CE; Civico Nove showing Ecoalf’s new collections; Modes hosted Rick Owens’ upcycled capsule collection created in collaboration with Swampgod and Numerotrenta hosted Blue of a Kind, an upcycled and cruelty-free denim brand.
A series of talks and roundtables also involved top managers including Stefano Albini, president, Albini Group; Andrea Crespi, CEO, Eurojersey; Matteo Mantellassi, CEO, Manteco; Ettore Piacenza, general director of Piacenza 1733, and Alberto Candiani, global manager, Candiani Denim.
