Los Angeles paparazzi captured a very rare sight on Friday: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, out in Beverly Hills. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were dressed for summer, Meghan in a Janessa Leoné hat, Chanel ballet flats, a white mask, sunglasses, and a $76 Magic Linen dress. Harry wore a gray polo, jeans, and a brown baseball hat with sneakers. The couple was last photographed by the paparazzi way back in April, when they were volunteering for Project Angel Food.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex most recently volunteered for Homeboy Industries at the end of June. “THANK YOU to Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, for their visit yesterday!” Homeboy Industries tweeted, revealing that the Duke and Duchess have secretly visited the organization and sharing photos from their time there. “Our Bakery & Café teams were thrilled to have them work alongside us to #FeedHOPE to Los Angeles.”

Beyond working with Los Angeles organizations, Meghan and Harry have privately been working on their new non-profit Archewell. When they announced the organization’s name in April, the couple stated that the COVID-19 pandemic has delayed its launch.
“Like you, our focus is on supporting efforts to tackle the global Covid-19 pandemic but faced with this information coming to light, we felt compelled to share the story of how this came to be,” they said in a statement. “Before SussexRoyal, came the idea of ‘Arche’—the Greek word meaning ‘source of action.’ We connected to this concept for the charitable organization we hoped to build one day, and it became the inspiration for our son’s name [Archie]. To do something of meaning, to do something that matters. Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon. We look forward to launching Archewell when the time is right.”
Meghan and Harry have otherwise been quarantining in the California city with their one-year-old son Archie. The couple’s friends told ELLE.com in May that Meghan and Harry are enjoying a “happy and love-filled time” with him.
