Olah Inc. widens its management

2 min read

Richard Tobin, a longtime denim industry insider, has joined Olah Inc. as vice president of sales and marketing. Olah Inc. is, among other things, the organizer behind the denim trade show Kingpins.

Tobin, who previously was the VP of sales and marketing for Kaltex America, one of Mexico’s largest denim mill and jean producers, brings over 30 years of experience in the jeans industry to the marketing, consultancy and event firm.

Olah Inc. CEO Andrew Olah said: “We are very proud that Rich joined our company. His experience, vision and creativity will allow us to not only improve customer satisfaction, but will substantially widen our bandwidth, allowing us to do more creative and substantive work and of course grow our business.” Prior to working at Kaltex, Tobin spent eight years at Tavex in Mexico and some time in Asia working on his own business.

“This is a very exciting time in our industry,” Olah continued. “Where massive change is impacting every supplier and customer and an experienced person with vision can bring fundamental change not just to our company, but to the industry at large. This is very important to us, and we believe this addition to our team will vitalize our work and our footprint.”
