Following the Italian government’s decision to authorize the holding of physical international trade shows from mid-June on, Pitti Immagine has announced the dates and venues of its upcoming summer trade shows’ physical editions:
Pitti Filati will take place as first, June 28-30, at Stazione Leopolda, in Florence.
From June 30 to July 2, Pitti Immagine Uomo and Pitti Immagine Bimbo will take place simultaneously at Fortezza da Basso, in Florence.
Fragranze, the trade show focused on perfumes and fragrances, will close the sequence and will take place September 17 to 19 at Stazione Leopolda in Florence.
“We are aware of the responsibilities that, by returning first to the physical format of the trade shows, we have towards the entire fashion industry and institutions like the government, Ice Agency, City of Florence, Tuscany Region and the various business associations that have shown great trust and consideration for our work,” said Claudio Marenzi, president, Pitti Immagine. “For this the whole company is working tirelessly to organize the show in order to recall the highest possible participation of exhibitors, buyers and press. In terms of quality and liveliness, we will be up to Pitti levels and to meet our exhibitors’ expectations. And, thinking of Pitti Uomo, it will be a 100th edition characterized by down-to-earthness and pride.”

“The new dates of our next shows fairs are also the result of in-depth discussions with the international organizations of major fashion events and, in particular, with the Italian system, including the textile fairs, in order to avoid any overlapping and draw a calendar that can help the market’s needs,” said Raffaello Napoleone, CEO, Pitti Immagine giving for granted that Milan Menswear Fashion Week will take place in June, 18 to 22, as already forecasted.
“We are confirming that Pitti Uomo will last for three days, instead of four, in order to make sure that exhibitors optimize time and expenses, and offer them quality set-up solutions at reasonable costs. We will also enhance the Fortezza da Basso for a program of events, where exhibitors themselves will be the protagonists, as well as a selection of special projects dedicated to fashion research, new generations and sustainability.”
“As for Pitti Filati, we confirm the Stazione Leopolda venue, which is very suitable for an innovative setting on the functional and aesthetic level and sustainable, the right combination for an extra-ordinary period from all points of view,” added Napoleone.
“We are coordinating with public authorities like Municipality, Region and Ministries, and private entities such as carriers, airports, stations, hotels and shops among others, involved in the overall exhibition activity to monitor and manage each phase of the process, from travel to arrival in the city, from access to the exhibition venues to the route through the pavilions and the use of services. The decision to hold Uomo and Bimbo in the same days at Fortezza Uomo and Bimbo, for instance, will bring benefits to both from being held at the same time. But above all, I want to highlight that the entire summer cycle will be characterized by a strong integration between the physical and digital formats, seeking to exploit all the possibilities of breadth and depth of service that they offer together,” said Agostino Poletto, general manager, Pitti Immagine.
